Joan Horbeek
Founder & CEO

Joan is the founder and CEO of TradeWell Capital. He has several decades of experience in international energy project management and algorithmic trading, and built TradeWell around a systematic, research-driven approach to financial markets.
As CEO he holds ultimate responsibility for strategy, fund management and the regulatory structure under AFM supervision.
Liam van As
Chief Operating Officer

Liam is COO of TradeWell Capital. He is responsible for the operational management of the Fund, oversight of the teams, contact with external partners and the strategic growth of TradeWell.
Jelmer Posthumus
Data & AI
Amsterdam
Jelmer leads data engineering and AI at TradeWell Capital. He is responsible for the research infrastructure that develops, tests and validates new strategies.
His work focuses on building the tooling and pipelines that enable the team to work systematically at scale.
Karwan Nisstany
Head of Investor Relations
Amsterdam/SWeden
Karwan is responsible for investor relations at TradeWell Capital. He is the first point of contact for high-net-worth individuals and family offices considering an investment in the Fund.
His role covers onboarding, ongoing communication with investors and answering due diligence questions together with the team.
Rense Horbeek
Chief Financial Officer

Rense is CFO of TradeWell Capital. He is responsible for financial reporting, cost management and financial control within TradeWell Capital B.V.
His work runs alongside the independent NAV calculation by AssetCare and ensures sound internal finances for the management vehicle.
Sofie Kleefstra
Back Office Administrator
Amsterdam
Sofie handles the back office and operational administration of TradeWell Capital. She is the point of contact for administrative questions and manages the day-to-day coordination with AssetCare, banking and compliance partners.
Her work forms the operational backbone of the Fund's day-to-day running.
A focused team with clear role allocation, supported by specialised external partners for administration, custody and compliance.
TradeWell Capital works with an experienced team. Every role is clearly assigned: strategy research, risk management, investor relations, finance and operations are held independently of one another within the team.
Specialist functions including fund administration, NAV calculation, custody and banking are outsourced to independent parties. AssetCare handles administration and NAV calculation, Stichting Legal Owner is the legal owner of the fund assets, Finalto and Interactive Brokers (IBKR) handle execution and Rabobank provides operational banking.
This keeps the internal team focused on research, the portfolio and the relationship with investors. The governance lines stay clear and no critical function rests with one party alone.
